Perendev Magnetic Motor

The Perendev magnetic motor is an interesting device. As the name suggests, it is a motor that uses magnets. We use motor and magnets independently every day for a number of reasons. Both can be powerful and putting them together seems to make sense. Why the interest in this type of motor?


This particular motor was designed and created by a Mr. Michael Brady in 2006. He claimed that the motors had an output of 100kW to 4MW. The motor is said to be completely powered by magnets when the magnets are in proper alignment.

So how is the Perendev magnetic motor supposed to work? There is a specific configuration that the magnets are to be placed into. The placement is permanent and the shielding and direction of each magnet are also important aspects of how the motor is to work.

Mr. Brady did submit a PCT International patent application and apparently was not awarded.  There could be a number of reasons as to why; however, the concept is still an interesting topic. His design incorporated a shaft which rotates on a  longitudinal axis, a set of magnets arranged in a certain way on a rotor about this shaft of which a shaft moves the rotor. There are actually three of these rotors with the same design as just noted but are all separated by a magnetic screen to ensure the magnets are moving independently.

The magnets that are used in the Perendev magnetic motor have been said to be sealed with steel. The steel being the material that separates each magnet and rotor causes a force to occur and the motor turns due to the combination of forces that are derived between the areas that are covered in steel and those that are not. There have been a number of individuals who have tried to recreate Mr. Brady's original design to see if and how it worked.

The concept of the Perendev magnetic motor is certainly something to consider. With the constant increase of environmental issues, the increase usage as well as a consistent increase of utility bills, the need of alternative processes seems to be the right thing to consider. Whether his device is worthy of consideration or not, the concept is.

Science Fiction television shows and movies portray extremely advanced technology that is efficient and hardly impacts the environment. As our world moves forward, the need for cleaner energy is a must. Although some may be a bit skeptic about such devices being doable, they are but as we know there are certain individuals and companies who do not want this to happen.

As with many individuals in our history's past, Mr. Brady had an idea to better our lives and tried to prove his theory. Many believe that he was on the right track but something seems to be missing. The device is relatively inexpensive and could potentially offer a sufficient amount of power.

To reduce the negative impact on our environment but reduce the huge carbon footprints we are creating each day, we need tools to better our lives and our environment. The Perendev magnetic motor is a step in the right direction.
